José Joaquín Celedón Otero.
Joaquín focuses his practice on corporate, commercial and real estate law, with an emphasis on negotiating and structuring contracts. He advises domestic and international companies on complex transactions: due diligence, corporate restructurings, foreign investment, regulatory compliance and insolvency proceedings.
His experience combines preventive counsel with court representation. He began his career as a litigator, representing clients in civil and commercial proceedings and arbitration — a foundation that shapes the way he negotiates: from the firm position of someone who knows the courtroom.
Before founding JCO he practiced at established Santiago firms, in the corporate, litigation and real estate areas. His practice also includes direct experience in business operations, having led the legal and operational function of a company. He works in Spanish and English, with domestic and international clients.
